To Lose Weight, You Must Eat More. Explained Simply.

Most people hear “weight loss” and immediately think they need to eat less food.

Smaller meals.
Tiny portions.
Skip breakfast.
Remove nshima.
Avoid rice.
Stay hungry.

That is where many people struggle.

You reduce food too aggressively, hunger increases, cravings get stronger, and eventually you lose control around food.

In this video, I explain why eating MORE food volume can make weight loss easier.

Look at the example in the thumbnail.

Both sides contain about 1,660 calories.

One side gives you chicken, vegetables, fruit, maize, popcorn, water and other filling foods.

The other side gives you soft drinks, crisps, chocolate, cakes and other highly processed foods.

The calories may be similar.

But the amount of food is completely different.

This is one of the most important lessons in fat loss.

To lose body fat, you still need a calorie deficit.

You need to consume fewer calories than your body uses over time.

There is no food that breaks this rule.

There is no special tea, fasting window, detox or vegetable that magically removes belly fat.

But the foods you choose affect how easy it feels to stay within your calorie target.

A small chocolate bar can contain hundreds of calories.

A packet of crisps disappears quickly.

A sugary drink adds calories without making you feel very full.

Before you know it, you have used a large part of your daily calorie allowance and you are still hungry.

Now compare that with a large plate containing lean protein, vegetables, fruit and a controlled portion of starch.

The plate looks bigger.

You chew more.

You eat for longer.

You get more protein.

You get more fibre.

You get more food volume.

You often feel fuller for longer.

That is why some people appear to eat MORE while losing weight.

They are not necessarily eating more calories.

They are eating more food for fewer calories.

This is where many people misunderstand dieting.

You do not need to survive on tiny meals.

You need to learn how to build meals that give you enough food while keeping your total calorie intake controlled.

Start with protein.

Chicken.
Fish.
Eggs.
Beans.
Lean meat.
Yoghurt.

Add vegetables.

Include fruit.

Control your starch portions.

Drink enough water.

Reduce liquid calories.

Watch foods that pack many calories into very small portions.

Chocolate.

Biscuits.

Crisps.

Pastries.

Fried snacks.

Sugary drinks.

Alcohol.

These foods are not automatically forbidden.

The problem is how easily their calories add up.

This video will help you understand why food volume matters, why some meals leave you hungry shortly after eating, and why other meals make staying in a calorie deficit much easier.

The message is simple.

Eating less food is not always the best way to eat fewer calories.

Sometimes you need a bigger plate.

You need more vegetables.

More lean protein.

More filling foods.

More food volume.

But fewer calories overall.

That is the difference.

If you have been trying to lose weight by starving yourself, eating tiny meals and fighting hunger every day, this video will change how you look at your plate.

I explain everything using simple examples you can apply with African foods.

No complicated nutrition language.

No fear of nshima.

No starvation.

No magic tricks.

Just practical fat-loss education.

Watch the full video and compare the two 1,660-calorie examples carefully.

Then ask yourself one question:

Am I trying to eat less food, or am I learning to eat smarter?
